Antica Terra’s “Table in the Trees” expansion treats concrete as quietly as it treats wine—essential, precise, and completely in service to place. For the new outdoor kitchen footings in Amity, Oregon, West of West, R&H Construction, Parker Concrete, Wilsonville Concrete Products, and Solid Carbon collaborated on a 3,500 PSI BioLOCK 2.0 mix that folds 50 lb/cy of biochar‑based, carbon‑negative additive into 48 yards of PLC‑ and slag‑blended concrete.

Started on a cold, clear February morning, the footings tuck biogenic carbon beneath a future canopy of shared meals and long tastings, tying Antica Terra’s hospitality spaces to the same climate‑attentive ethos that shapes its wines.
